I am a Professional School Counselor
and
this is my sixth year with Onslow County Schools. As the
Military Transition Counselor, I
collaborate with parents, school counselors, administrators, and student
service personnel to provide military students and families with a
seamless transition into our school system to ensure student success throughout
all 37 schools in Onslow County.
It is my philosophy that:
All students should have resources available to enable them to work to the best of their ability.
All students should have access to a full-time, state certified, Master's degree level school counselor.
Diversity is to be respected and appreciated as we foster unity among our students, faculty, staff, and community.
All students have dignity and worth and have a right to a safe, mutually respectful, healthy, and caring learning environment.
Supportive and passionate parents/guardians, educators, student mentors, and community members are active participants in the education of our students.
